HÃ¥kon Wium Lie is best known as the inventor of CSS. He also served as the CTO of Opera Software, makers of the Opera browser, and has been involved in a number of other ventures, web-related and otherwise. Since the beginning of 2018, he has served as the public face of the MediaWiki-based website Rettspraksis.no, which holds a directory of the rulings of the Supreme Court of Norway. Due to a lawsuit against Rettspraksis.no (recently concluded), he has become somewhat of an open-data activist as well.
